Purpose

Bistatic microwave detector is intended:

• to immediate organize of rapid deployable temporary alarm (protected) boundaries on unprepared terrain for people, vehicle and material values;
  
• to strengthen vulnerable routes during special mode or during the repair of equipment of the main protection system;
  
• to monitor zones at remote approaches to protected boundaries;
  
• for intelegence purposes.
  

The detector has built-in radio modem to transmit alarm messages via radio channel to Central Control Panel (CCP) and Portable Control Panel (PCP) at distance up to 1 km. 
The principle of operation is based on the following: an electromagnetic field is generated in the space between TX and RX which forms a volumetric detection zone. RX measures parameteres of this field modulation (change), caused when an intruder crosses the protected boundary. Approximate dimensions and form of detection zone in vertical and horizontal planes when the detector is installed on-site.

Variant of building a long continuous protected boundary of closed perimeter.
Variant of building a long continuous protected boundary of open perimeter.

Distinctive  features:
Provides uninterrupted roynd-the-clock operation.
Generates a lengthwise-volumetric detection zone.
Implements a special signal processing algorithm that increases the detection and noise immunity of the detector.

BSK-RLD is immune to the following noise factors:
precipitation such as rain up to 40 mm/h;
grass cover within detection zone up to 0,3 m;
flat and cross-country terrain with  slopes up to 300;
snow cover heigth up to 0.3 m.
