Purpose

Microwave bistatic detector is intended to build a longitudinal-volumetric detection zone:

• long protected boundary (used with fence or without it);
• on top of fences ;
  
• walls, windows and roofs of buildings;
  
• gates and wickets;
• roads and railways.

The principle of operation is based on generating an electromagnetic field in space between a transmitter and a receiver and registering changes in this field caused by an intruder crossing the detection zone.

Distinctive features:

• It detects an intruder (human) crossing the controlled zone in "upright walking", "bent", "prone crawling", "elbows and knees crawling", "rolling" positions.
  
• It adjusts the detector settings automatically when parameters of underlying surface (dry, moist, changes of grass or snow cover height within limits).
  
• It provides detection zone width adjustment ("standard"/"narrow").
  
• It provides remote control of detector serviceability, diagnostics and information transmission with data acquisition and processing information system via RS-485 system.
  
• Built-in circuit protection against lightning and noise.
• Tamper-proof metal housings of a transmitter and receiver (with increased mechanical strength and jamming electomagnetic effects).
• High detection probability (0.99).
  
• Immunity to strong electromagnetic fields (transmission towers up to 500 kV).
  
• Tune-out against noise caused by outside sources of radio-frequency radiation by changing the plane of electomagnetic field polarization.
  
• Easy to set and diagnose using universal control panel.
• Wire synchronization (in addition to synchronization on the beam) provides operation in areas with a complex electromagnetic environment.
  
• It has no mutual effect when detectors are installed at parallel boundaries by the means of different channels (4 frequency letters).
