  • Purpose

    Wire-wave detector which uses extended sensing elements or wire lines that provide the organization of volumetric detection zones 25 to 250 m long in one or two independent sectors of protection.

    It generates a volumetric detection zone (DZ) along two-wire line, located above the ground surface, on the fence fabric or along insulated metal structures of outrigger type, installed along the top of fences and made of wire, welded mesh, antenna systems of capacity detectors.

    The principle of operation is based on wide-band electromagnetic pulse sounding of the space between wires of the wire line or the space around the sensing element and registration od changes in the generated electromagnetic field when intruder enters the detection zone. Both isolated conductors and elements isolated from the ground can be used as elements.

    Variants of use:

    Detector provides boundary protection in four operation variants:

    • 1-st variant – mounting local part of the detector at sectors without a fence (including additional physical obstacle made of a reinforced twisted barbed wire coil);
    • 2-nd variant – mounting local part along the fence fabric made of welded metal mesh or barbed wire;
    • 3-rd variant – mounting local part on of the fence;
    • 4-th variant – mounting local part on the walls and roofs of the buildings.

    The detector generates a volumetric detection zone between:

    • Upper wire and ground surface (for variants 1 and 2);
    • Upper wire and top of fences or wall of buildings (for variants 3 and 4);
    • Sensing element and top of fences (for variant 3).
    It is possible to pass sensing element from the fence to walls and tops of the roofs.

    The detector generates an alarm when:

    • A detection zone is crossed by an intruder at full height (application variants 1-4), at “bent” position (application variants 1, 2) at a speed from 0,1 to 7 m/s, at “elbows and knees crawling” position (application variants 1, 2);
    • A detection zone is crossed by an intruder climbing over the fence;
    • When remote control signal is received from DAPS.

    An additional generating unit (GU) can be delivered when a complete non-closed protected boundary is built with an even number of sectore.

    ATTENTION! Component parts (wires, brackets, posts, mesh fabric) are completed and purchased separately.

    Distinctive features:
    • It generates the DZ, which follows facility fence configuration and terrain configuration, includong turns of protected boundary line at angle of 90° and rises (slopes) at angle up to 40°.
    • It solves tasks of providing protection of local sectors and fences: - located near roads and railway lines; - at power facilities with high level of electromagnetic interferences.
    • It can be installed at perimeter in series to provide blocking of lengthy protected boundaries.
    • It provides for stable operation in case of seasonal changes of underlying surface which does not require mowing grass and snow removal.
    • It can be installed on differrent types of fences, as well as used together with engineering strengthening elements in the form of volumetric concertina coil, fixed on the ground surface.
    • It provides for remote setting, diagnostics and data exchange via RS-485 interface in security.
    • Remote control of serviceability.
    • Lightning protection of input and output circuits.
